Introducing this handsome, middle aged man, Barry! This gorgeous boy was a surrender who has been in foster care for a few months and has absolutely thrived while with his foster dad. He loves going for walks, and walks terrifically on the lead. LOVES his care trips and sits up in his seat and watches everything going on around him. He would be the perfect travel buddy.
He gets on great with other dogs and would benefit from having another doggy friend in his new home. He has been in foster care with multiple other dogs and has thrived. He also loves to play ball with his humans and other doggy friends. He is quite active when he has to be, otherwise he is quite happy to snooze the day away in a nice cool spot on the tiles or in front of the aircon.
Training is a breeze as he is very food orientated. He already knows how to sit, wait for his dinner and is inside toilet trained. He sleeps inside, on the bed and is quite content with that. He would need to be able to sleep inside either in the bed with his humans or in his own, expensive doggy bed.
As he is coming from a foster home on property, he has become accustomed to this lifestyle. He will need to go to a home with space to run and play and is not suitable to a house with a small backyard.
If you believe you have a Barry sized hole in your heart, please send through your applications!
Currently on a low dose of Lovan for his anxiety. Can be anxious during storms if he is alone. Note: He is untested with children and cats
