Maggie
Introducing this snuggle bug named Maggie. She has had a hard life and found herself on death row at just 18 months old. She was saved by carers who placed her into foster care. The carers then vanished with her for 18 months. Luckily, Maggie popped up on the radar again as a troubled, anxious girl who had received minimal training and the proper kind attention needed for such an intelligent dog. Thank goodness Maggie found herself in the hands of DARE who placed her into foster care immediately and where she started her rehabilitation.
She is a beautiful dog with her nature of wanting to please and is learning more and more each day. She can now make good eye contact and has learnt to be calm, follow basic commands and how to fit in with other dogs. She is probably best suited to settled owners, ideally active and who an her the love, attention and regular exercise that she deserves.
She can be with other dogs, however, if the existing dog is a dominate alpha male or female, she would probably not be suited.
Her favourite activities include playing fetch, tummy rubs, chewing on her toys and being covered with a cuddly blanket at the end of a busy day.
